Routine Cleanings

Hygine.jpgBrushing at least twice a day and flossing at least once a day are important for your dental health, but your oral hygiene routine cannot provide complete protection against tooth decay and gum disease. The American Dental Association recommends professional check-ups and dental cleanings every 6 months. Routine dental cleanings prevent plaque build-up from wreaking havoc on your oral health. Our hygienists will remove built-up plaque and calcified plaque, also known as tarter or calculus. They will also check for signs of gum disease and other oral health issues. Our hygienists will clean your teeth with your comfort in mind and address any concerns you have, so you can leave with a healthy smile and that silky-smooth feeling.

Your teeth are not the only important part of your mouth. Your gums are essential to oral hygiene as well. We can provide periodontal cleanings and treatment, or refer you to one of our recommended specialists. Please let us know if you have any questions.
